Applying for studies, internships and jobs means even more for our students today than before: to present themselves with a wide range of skills and certificates. Finding your way through the jungle of internship certificates, documents and certificates mean a lot of work for HR managers.
The MINT-EC-Certificate aims to help here: It summarizes the achievements of pupils in the mathematics-scientific-technical field in a clear and comprehensible way. The big plus is that it is a uniform certificate throughout Germany, which is supported by a variety of institutions, in particular the Conference of the Ministers of Culture of the Länder and the Rectors’ Conference.
Against this backdrop, it is expected that this certificate will be an important additional qualification for our students, which could be a valuable door-opener in the course of their professional careers.
Therefore, it is worthwhile to start earning the necessary points for the certificate already in the lower secondary level, which can also be contributed proportionally if you go after the points in the upper level.
Points are awarded in three categories:
The certificate itself is awarded to the students together with their school-leaving certificates. We hope that as many of our students as possible will use this great opportunity in the future.
Further information on the MINT-EC-Certificate and the conditions for awarding it can be found directly on the MINT-EC website. There you will also find the brochure with all details and the application form for a MINT-EC-Certificate.
But you can also ask the people responsible for the MINT-Certificate at Nonnenwerth: Dr. Konstanze Witzel-Schlömp or Helmut Meixner.
